At 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue There Is Worry Of ‘Legacy’

George W. Bush does not plan on disclosing benefactors for his imminent presidential library. Does anyone really care?

Yes… and no.

It is relevant to his legacy because actions such as this are a continuation of the same deceitful, covert tactics that have been exercised by this administration and the Oval Office the last eight years. It is not pertinent because anyone who has been paying attention during this presidency can surely make an educated guess and fare better than chance.

  • Halliburton (of course)
  • KBR
  • Blackwater
  • Goldman-Sachs Bailed Out CEO’s
  • AIG (The Corporate Vacationers)
  • Carlyle Group
  • Engineered Support Systems Inc.
  • New Bridge Strategies
  • Winston Partners
  • (Feel free to Google any of these companies to find many articles referencing their benefit earned during this presidency.)

…along with every company, person and ‘foundation’ that has directly benefited from the war mongering and the oversight/restriction relaxation of White House policies enacted during his term.

The President, as he exits 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, worries about what his legacy will become and if history will favor him. No amount of time will be long enough for many citizens to forgive George W. Bush’s tenure. Needless lives have been lost as result of direct White House involvement. These lives are sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brother, sisters, grandchildren and friends. From 9/11, failure in Afghanistan, to Hurricane Katrina and Iraq’s illegal invasion, people have lost life, love and money only to have the President focus on profiteering for friend and family. Expending the lives of those who believed his rhetoric, ignored his lies and dismissed his secrecy.

January 20, 2009 may not solve every issue wrong in this nation, but it will surely be a day of rejoicing for those who remember every failure, every lie and every stupid little snicker from this President.

“Your kindness for weakness I never mistook
I worried you often, yet you understood
That life is so fleeting, these troubles won’t last
Forever”

    Speaking of George W. Bush:

George W. Bush committed hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism (indicated in my blog).

George W. Bush did in fact commit innumerable hate crimes.

And I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed other hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism which I am not at liberty to mention.

Many people know what Bush did.

And many people will know what Bush did—even to the end of the world.

    Bush was absolute evil.

Bush is now like a fugitive from justice.

    Bush is a psychological prisoner.

Bush has a lot to worry about.

Bush can technically be prosecuted for hate crimes at any time.

In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

I am not sure where I had read it before, but anyway, it is a linguistically excellent statement, and it goes kind of like this: “If only it were possible to ban invention that bottled up memories so they never got stale and faded.” Oh wait—off the top of my head—I think the quotation came from my Lower Merion High School yearbook.
